Patrick Lee Advisory

Privacy and Website Scope

Effective 28 July 2026. This notice explains how professional-enquiry information and consented website analytics are handled and defines the boundaries of this personal platform.

01

Information collected

The business-enquiry form may collect your name, business email, company, job title, industry, optional LinkedIn profile, collaboration type and the message you choose to submit. Member registration may collect a verified email, display name, company, job title, language, topic preferences and subscription status. Do not submit confidential company information, insurance-policy information, claims information, financial-account data or sensitive personal data.

02

Member identity and subscriptions

Member identity verification is provided by ChatGPT. The website receives the verified email and optional display name used to create the member profile, but it cannot access the member’s ChatGPT conversations. Website updates are opt-in: no topic or email-update option is selected by default. Members can change topics, unsubscribe while keeping the account, sign out or permanently delete the membership through the Member Centre.

03

Website analytics

Analytics is disabled until you allow it. If allowed, the site records a pseudonymous visitor and session identifier, pages viewed, timestamps, referral and UTM source, campaign, device category, browser, operating system and approximate country or city. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the analytics database, and covert fingerprinting is not used.

04

Identity and consent

Anonymous visitors are not reverse-identified. Website activity is connected to a name, company, job title or LinkedIn profile only when the visitor voluntarily submits those details through the enquiry form and separately selects the optional activity-linking consent. A LinkedIn profile link is never inferred from ordinary browsing.

05

Purpose of use

Information is used only to assess and respond to professional enquiries, operate member accounts, record subscription consent and preferences, provide relevant website or event updates, maintain appropriate records and support reasonable follow-up relating to the request.

06

Data minimisation and retention

Pseudonymous analytics events and their optional identity link are retained for no more than 365 days. Member profiles and subscription preferences are retained while the membership remains active and are deleted when the member uses the permanent deletion control, subject only to limited records that must be retained for legal or security reasons. Enquiry records may be retained separately only for as long as reasonably required for enquiry management, professional record-keeping, legal obligations or dispute prevention.

07

Sharing and disclosure

Enquiry and member information is not sold. It may be disclosed only when reasonably necessary to operate the website or an authorised email-delivery service, comply with law, protect legitimate rights or route a regulated request to an appropriately authorised corporate channel with the enquirer’s knowledge.

08

Professional-service boundary

Patrick Lee Advisory is a personal platform for non-regulated business advisory, thought leadership, workshops and speaking. It does not provide insurance brokerage, insurance placement, policy recommendations, claims handling, risk-transfer execution, or regulated financial or insurance advice.

09

Personal views and confidentiality

Website content reflects Patrick Lee’s personal professional perspective and does not represent any current or former employer. No confidential client or employer information is intentionally disclosed.
